Improving email delivery with throttling

What is email delivery throttling

and how will it help you?

Delivery throttling is a feature that sends your email campaigns in timed batches. If you send an email campaign to tens of thousands of subscribers, this exposes you to a risk of your website server overload or overwhelming amount of incoming call center requests.

An additional benefit is the domain warm up. If you rarely send email campaigns, or it's you first campaign, it is a good practice to send it gradually in 12-24 hours. We highly recommend enabling it for your campaigns when appropriate.

Ultimately, delivery throttling is enabled automatically for email campaigns of over 100GB. There are very few of such campaigns, but dividing them in batches allows Mailigen to better allocate server resources, so other email campaigns of other customers are not affected negatively. Win-win-win.

We heard your feedback and simplified the review process of large email automation campaigns. A "zoom" pop-up in the top right corner will help you review every branch of the automation workflow.
